Est. 1998 · Family Owned
Handcrafted recipes passed down three generations, fresh market ingredients, tortillas pressed by hand each morning — served in a room built for unforgettable evenings.
Our Story
Sol y Sabor began with abuela Elena's comal and a recipe notebook carried north from Michoacán. What started as Sunday dinners for neighbors became a room that fills every night.
We kept the traditions — the long braises, the toasted chiles, the tortillas pressed by hand — and gave them a modern home: warm light, generous space, and service that treats every guest like family.

The Chef
Executive Chef & Co-Owner
“I learned to cook standing on a crate beside my grandmother, watching her judge a salsa by smell alone. That instinct is still how we run this kitchen.”
Elena trained in Oaxaca and Mexico City before returning home to build a menu that honors regional cooking without flattening it — mole that takes two days, seafood from the morning market, nothing rushed.

Happy GuestsReviews
“The birria is the best I've had outside Guadalajara, and the room feels like a proper night out. We've already booked again.”
“Handmade tortillas you can smell from the door. Service was warm without hovering — genuinely faultless.”
“We took twelve colleagues for the patio tasting. Everyone left talking about the margaritas and the mole.”
“Brought my parents and my toddler. Somehow it worked for all three generations — that never happens.”
“The quesabirria alone is worth the drive. Beautiful space, real cooking, fair prices. My new standard.”
